Taking notes is an important part of classroom learning. A child with ADD ADHD, who may not be listening all the time, can miss important information. Some strategies to try include using a tape recorder to tape lectures, comparing notes with a "study buddy", learning to take notes in a different way, such as mind mapping, or employing active listening skills.
